Kumar Vishwas was born as Vishwas Kumar Sharma in a small town called Pilkhuwa in Uttar Pradesh. His father, Chandra Pal Sharma, was a teacher, and his mother, Rama Sharma, was a housewife. Kumar is the youngest of five brothers and one sister. He studied in Lala Ganga Sahay School and later went to Rajputana Regiment Inter College. His father wanted him to become an engineer, so he joined an engineering college called Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College. But Kumar Vishwas did not like engineering. He left it and chose to study Hindi literature instead.
